Big changes for Marquis Motorsports in 2012. The Legends car program will be changing its number from 28 to 2. Brent drove the #2 in karting for many years. The # 2 also signifies the Marquis sibling's grandmother's birth month of February. Brent will be driving in 7 to 10 events this season in the legends car on the Central PA legends tour. Focusing mainly on Lincoln, Susquehanna, and Big diamond. Brent may hop in the #7 kart at Marsh Creek depending on scheduling. Jillian will run part time in the #7 kart at Sandy Hook when additional funding is obtained. As always, Sponsorship is available and if interested please call Brent at 443-417-0981. You can also email him -

. The team is not opposed to running more races, or a full season if sponsorship is obtained. Thanks for everyone's support through the years. This year will be all about having fun and continuing the Marquis tradition of winning/ doing a lot with a little. |

After a rough start to the season, the 28 turned things around starting at Trailways a month ago. With career best finishes at Lincoln and Trailways we were definitely headed in the right direction, and knew a win was right around the corner. At the track that has brought Brent so much success in his career, and one he has struggled at with the new tires, he finally turned it around at SSP and led wire to wire to win his first race of 2011 on Maryland drivers night. Brent interviewed before the race and said "My fans helped me put this deal together this year, and I hope to put on a show for them tonight." he also said "I am going to give you guys something to talk about tonight." The first make up feature of the night saw Brent starting 2nd, battled for the lead but lost several spots to finish an extremely disappointing 9th. Although disappointing the team didn't give up and made changes to the car for the heat races for the regularly scheduled show. The car was awesome, and Brent led flag to flag to pick up his first heat race win. This set him up on the pole for the feature. Brent jumped out into the lead on the start, and never looked back. He was challenged several times, but never lost his cool and was determined to win. After 1 caution Brent cruised to his 3rd career victory, and first of 2011. Victory lane photos and interview was postponed til the next date at SSP. "I wanted to win this race so bad, it feels so good to get this win...somebody pinch me!" said a very happy Brent. He wants to thank all of his loyal fans, and this win goes out to them.
Next race: Lincoln Speedway 6/25/11. |

The 2010 most improved driver is looking for ways to fund the race team for this coming 2011 season. Instead of courting a company to adorn the side of the race car we'd like to offer it to the fans. For only 20$ you can have your name (or other phrase, company name etc) on the side of the car for the entire season. The decals will be 6-8 inches long a piece. The link to donate via Paypal is under the link "2011 Fan Car" or right here on this front page. If you have any questions at all please email

. Hope you had a wonderful 2010 holiday season, can't wait to get back on track in 2011!

Driver Jillian Marquis took her #7 into victory lane this past Sunday at Sandy Hook Speedway. In just her 3rd start in the series she continues to impress and turn heads! From what we've seen from her first time out to her 3rd start has been phenomenal, given the equipment she has..she makes the most of it. At times throughout the day she had no fear of entering the corner slideways while racing others side by side!! Way to go!
